Spearheaded grassroots campaign culminating in video director Farbod Khoshtinat receiving the Democracy Video Challenge Award from Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton in the Treaty Room of the White House. Recruited and supervised activists in thirty-four countries on six continents. Wrote press releases. Designed ads. Solicited translations. Marketed the video via social media and offline print campaigns. Filed complaints when evidence surfaced indicating that a hacker was tampering with vote count during voting — and he was even bragging about it on Facebook. Launched successful strategies to counter-act violent posts by a competing director’s associates, and to benefit from world events happening during the voting period.
